Recently, Life Sciences Partners, a European life sciences investment group, announced the completion of its C-round investment in Ireland's Vivasure Medical Group. This is also the perfect closing of the investment project of LSP Life Science Fund. At present, the group has exceeded 280 million investment and become the largest life science fund organization in Europe.
The investment in Vivasure is a leading medical device company in Europe. The percutaneous vascular bioresorbable large-cavity arterial puncture control program developed by PerQseal platform can complete minimally invasive surgery without the need for residual metal implants or exogenous sutures, shortening patient recovery time and saving medical costs. Currently, the technology has obtained EU CE certification.
LSP spokesperson Anne Portwich said at a press conference: "We are very happy to invest in supporting this innovative company. With the commercialization in the EU and US markets, it will be possible to improve the treatment of patients. We hope to Vivasure's close cooperation and continued efforts to collect more data through clinical research will help promote the adoption of the European market and the approval of the US market to further commercialize it."

LSP's René Kuijten believes that this over-investment is a reflection of LSP's strong financial resources and also demonstrates LSP's determination to meet the life science investment challenges. This not only makes LSP known to a large number of experienced institutional investors, but also attracts strategic partners like Bristol-Myers Squibb, and regards LSP as an investment partner for technological innovation in the European market.
LSP has invested in nine companies, including Neuravi, an Irish medical device company active in the acute ischemic stroke market; Nouscom, a Swiss-based immuno-oncology company; and recently listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange, focusing on tissue repair and regeneration. Kuros et al.
