First, the sun. Expose the watermelon seeds for 4 to 6 hours to allow them to absorb fresh air, enhance disease resistance, speed up metabolism, and increase germination speed.
Second, soaking. First soaking in warm water of about 25 degrees for 5 to 6 hours, so that the seeds absorb enough water; then soaking seeds with 40 degrees of hot water for 30 minutes to soften the seed coat, which will help the emergence. ,
Third, disinfection. The soaked seeds need to be disinfected with drugs. Generally, they are soaked with 50% carbendazim 500 times solution or 40% formalin 150 times for about 1 hour, and rinse out with clean water. This will kill the germs carried on the seeds and prevent the damage of bacteria after sowing.
Fourth, germination. The seeds are then wrapped in clean gauze, covered with food bags, placed in chest pockets of the human body (temperature can reach 25-27 degrees), germination, and rinsed with water of the same temperature every 4-6 hours. Seeds can be seeded after the seeds are white or with small buds.
