Flower matrix

Watching flowers is a truly beautiful experience. Growing flowers is not just about planting, but also about nurturing one's own spirit and emotions. There’s something deeply satisfying in observing the gradual blooming of flowers, as if each petal reveals a new layer of beauty. To begin with, the most fundamental step is making your own flower soil. You can use various organic materials such as dry branches, leaves, grass clippings, fruit peels, animal manure, hair, bones, and even small pieces of animal organs. These are combined with old basins, furnace ash, and garden soil to create a rich base. Then, you add a package of compost starter and let it ferment for about 10 days. After that, the compost is ready to use. When preparing this kind of soil, it's important not to make it too wet. The aerobic bacteria need enough air to break down the organic matter properly, producing beneficial compounds like nitrates and sulfides. If the mixture becomes too moist, anaerobic bacteria will take over, causing foul smells and breaking down the material into ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gases. This not only creates an unpleasant odor but also reduces the overall effectiveness of the compost as fertilizer. By taking care in the process, you ensure that your compost is both healthy and effective, giving your plants the best possible start. It's a simple yet rewarding practice that connects you more closely with nature.
