Flower matrix

Observing flowers is a truly beautiful experience. Growing flowers isn't just about planting; it's also about nurturing your soul and finding peace in nature. Taking the time to appreciate flowers step by step can be a rewarding and calming practice. To start, let’s talk about the most fundamental part of flower care — making compost soil. Compost is made using various organic materials such as dry branches, leaves, grass clippings, fruit peels, animal waste, hair, bones, and even vegetable scraps. These are combined with old basins, furnace ash, and garden soil. A small amount of jinbao starter (a microbial culture) is added to help speed up the fermentation process. The mixture is then left to ferment for about 10 days. When making compost, it's important not to make the pile too wet. The right moisture level allows aerobic bacteria to work efficiently, breaking down the organic matter into useful nutrients like nitrates and sulfates. If the pile becomes too damp, anaerobic bacteria take over, leading to foul-smelling gases like ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. These harmful gases escape into the air, reducing the quality and effectiveness of the final compost. By carefully managing the composting process, you create a rich, nutrient-dense soil that will support healthy and vibrant flower growth. It's a simple yet powerful way to connect with nature and give back to the earth.
