Strictly limit the number of commercial promotions, all pages are below 30%
From May 17th, Baidu's commercial promotion page was gradually adjusted and upgraded. On May 17, Baidu's promotion logo was completely replaced. The original "promotion" logo was replaced with the word "commercial promotion", and the font color was changed and the underline was added. Adding the color of the shading which is obviously different from other areas, not only the text is more clear, but the newly set buoy also clearly indicates the risk and user rights protection, highlighting the commercial attributes of the promotion content.
On May 24th, Baidu fully realized the proportion of commercial promotion information per page was less than 30%. After the new adjustment, the promotion information on the top, bottom and right of each page will not exceed four. At the same time, the new mechanism also removes the promotion content of the top of the disease search results page to further improve the information presentation.
