3. When pre-freezing, press the “cooling†button, the chiller starts to run, and the temperature of the cold trap gradually decreases. In order for the cold trap to have sufficient ability to adsorb moisture, the pre-cooling time should be no less than 30 minutes. Usually 4-6 hours
4. After the pre-cooling is finished, place the prepared items to be dried in a drying tray, cover the plexiglass cylinder, and close the gas-filling valve and the drain valve (on the right side).
5. When drying, the seal and the place where it may leak are first coated with vacuum grease (sealing grease).
6. Press the “vacuum†switch key, the vacuum pump starts to work, the digital display drops below 20Pa, and press the “cooling†button, the freeze drying process begins. Note: When the vacuum pump starts working, press down on the plexiglass cover for a while, which is good for sealing.
7. Multi-manifold type should first close the rubber valve (put the valve core up), and when the vacuum reaches 20Pa or less, insert the freeze-dried bottle that has been pre-frozen into the lower interface of the rubber valve and rotate the plastic valve core down 180 degree. Note: At this time, the vacuum gauge will rebound, and the next bottle should be installed when the vacuum reaches 20Pa.
Freeze drying machine operation:
1. First slowly (must be slow, otherwise the oil in the vacuum pump will suck up) Open the "inflation valve" and press the "vacuum pump" power switch to make the air slowly enter the cold trap. To fill the inert gas, connect the decompression conduit of the inert gas to the “inflation port†and slowly open the “inflation valve†to allow the inert gas to slowly enter the trap.
2. Press “vacuum meter†and “refrigerator†switch in turn to turn off. At this time, the indicator light is off, “total power†is on, and the button is released after pressing for three seconds without turning on.
3. Lift the plexiglass cover, remove the item, store it, and freeze the drying process.
4. After the ice in the cold trap has turned into water, open the “drain valve†to drain the water.
5. Clean up the moisture and impurities in the trap and properly maintain the equipment.
6. When the vacuum pump is not in use, it should be covered with a spout to prevent dirt from entering.
7. Multi-manifold type, the rubber valve should be closed one by one and the freeze-drying bottle should be removed before repeating the shutdown operation.
