Eucalyptus planting method

Eucalyptus belongs to the phytophthora Eucalyptus deciduous tree. The leaves in spring are mostly red, and they turn yellow in autumn leaves. They are very beautiful. They bloom in summer and are full of golden trees. It should be suitable for Tingyin trees, street trees, and landscape trees. It can also be used as a shelter forest, water and soil conservation and afforestation of barren hills. Eucalyptus has strong adaptability and is relatively easy to cultivate. It can be used for sowing, tillering, rooting and other methods, and it is mainly for sowing.

Select good individuals, dry-shaped straight, open crown, full fruit, in the good age of the single plant as a mother tree. Fruit is collected when the fruit is red-brown or orange and the capsule has not yet cracked. The seed coat of eucalyptus seeds is hard and hard to permeate. If no pregermination treatment is conducted, the seedlings in spring will not germinate or the germination rate will be very low. Therefore, the stratification method should be used for germination.

Eucalyptus generally used spring field seedlings. Sowing seedlings requires loose soil, certain fertility, and no ground pests. The land preparation must be smooth and fine, and the bottom water should be well-watered before sowing in the dry and rainy areas. The germination rate of eucalyptus seeds is relatively low, and the amount of seeds used should be large, generally 50 to 100 grams per square meter. With wide beam drilling, it is beneficial to the ventilation of young seedlings and is easy to manage. After sowing, cover 1-2 cm thick loose fine soil to prevent seed drying and water loss or damage by birds and beasts. Cover with grass, straw and other materials to increase the temperature of the soil, maintain soil moisture, prevent weed growth and soil compaction. After most of the seedlings are unearthed, the coverings are removed in batches.

Seedlings grow to 5 to 10 cm high time seedlings, leaving about 12 per square meter, combined with thinning seedlings. Eucalyptus is a deep-rooted tree species and should be transplanted multiple times to form a good root system. Seedlings can be dug into the ditch planting after the fall of the year, and the spring and autumn planting. Because the trunks of eucalyptus are not easy to grow straight, they must be cut to dry during the first transplant, and the management of fertilizer and water should be strengthened. In the spring, buds sprout from the base, and those who choose to stay straight and strong are trained to become trunks. If the first interception does not meet the requirements, Hunchun may cut it off again. After transplanting once every three years, the main root and the thick lateral root should be cut properly to promote new roots. The saplings of eucalyptus are growing slowly. The first two transplants should be properly planted, which will help cultivate straight trunks and save land. Afterwards, it should be properly sparse and the well-grown canopy should be cultivated
