Urea contains 46% nitrogen and is the most commonly used high-quality nitrogen fertilizer in production. However, the utilization of urea after it is applied to soil is usually only 45-50%. So, how to increase the utilization of urea?
Deeply. Whether urea is used as base fertilizer or as top dressing, deep application of soil shall be applied. The depth of fertilizer shall be 10~12 cm; urea deep application may significantly increase the utilization rate. According to the test, urea meter or shallow application of 2 ~ 3 cm, the utilization rate is only 30%; fertilization depth of 5 cm, the utilization rate of 45%; deep application of 10 to 20 cm, the utilization rate of up to 65%.
Apply early. Urea belongs to Ammonium Ammonium Nitrogen Fertilizer and can not be directly absorbed and utilized by the crop after being applied to the soil. It needs to be converted into ammonium nitrogen under the action of urease in the soil before it can be absorbed by the root system. Late application is not only unfavorable to the exertion of fertilizer effect, but also may cause late-maturing crops.
Spraying. Urea molecules are small in size and easily absorbed by the leaves. They are the most suitable fertilizers for foliar sprays. Foliage spray is highly targeted, fast in absorption rate, free from influence of soil environmental factors, high nutrient utilization rate, low fertilization, and significant yield increase effect, especially in poor soil environment, excessive water or drought, soil over-acid or over When alkali causes the absorption of roots to be impeded and crops urgently need nitrogen nutrients and the root activity of crops declines during the later period of growth, the foliar spraying can make up for the lack of root absorption.
Mixed use. Urea combined with organic manure, phosphorus and potash fertilizers and trace element fertilizers can maintain soil nutrient balance, maximize nutrient utilization and play a role in fertilizer production.

Chlorodiphenylphosphine Application
Chlorodiphenylphosphine is used to introduce the diphenylphosphinyl moiety by aryl ortho-lithiation. It is also used as an intermediate to make antioxidants, flame retardants, stabilizers, catalysts, photoinitiators, and optical brighteners. Used as a halogenation reagent for the conversion of alcohols into halides, in the preparation of solid-phase reagent for the conversion of alcohols to alkyl halides.
