Locust control

The locust is commonly known as the worm, belonging to the order Homoptera. Many types of locusts are harmful to fruit trees, such as peach pods, apple pods, pear bifurcations, and apricot pods. Aphids are responsible for economic forests such as peaches, apricots, plums, apples, pears, etc., which damage the shoots of new shoots mainly through adult worms or nymphs. The damaged leaves are rolled up to the front and become cylindrical. The leaves cannot be recovered after leaf rolling. The worms cause leaf curling. In addition, it can also inhibit the growth of branches, weakening the tree vigor, falling flowers, spreading viruses, and even causing tree death. In early June, the breeding season of locusts is very serious. If they are not controlled in time, they will have a great impact on the growth and development of fruit trees. Recently, a small number of roundworms have occurred in some of the pear fields in our district. Therefore, towns and towns should strengthen their publicity in order to guide farmers in a timely manner.
Main prevention measures:
1. Agricultural control: Clear up the deciduous orchards and remove weeds in time.
2. Physical control: Using the principle of strong tropism of yellow locusts on yellow, yellow plates are set between the orchards, and oils or other adhesives are applied to attract locusts and kill them. Using the principle that locusts have negative tropism towards silver gray, silver ash film is suspended in orchards to drive out locusts.
3. Chemical control: It can be used 2000 times of 10% imidacloprid powder, 2000 times of 20% cypermethrin, and 3000-4000 times of 1.8% avermectin to prevent drug resistance of aphids.
