Introduction to three vacuum evacuation drying methods

1. Static evacuation drying Static evacuation drying is mainly used for drying solid products, which is similar to the general pre-freezing device in the box. The difference is that there is no cooling pipe in the shelf, but the solid substance is placed on the shelf. On the top, draw the inside of the box into a vacuum. Since the solid matter has a certain shape, the water is evenly distributed in these materials, and the water evaporates when evacuated, and the evaporation increases as the pressure is lowered. Since the outside does not provide the heat required for evaporation, the material itself is absorbed during evaporation. It is dried by heat, which is carried out near the triple point, and has a pressure of 6.3 x 102 Pa and a temperature of 0 °C. When using the oil seal mechanical vacuum pump to draw vacuum, the water vapor cannot be directly pumped into the vacuum pump, otherwise the water vapor will pollute the oil and the efficiency of the pump will be reduced. Therefore, the water vapor must be condensed in the cold trap, if a steam jet pump is used. When vacuuming, the water vapor can be directly discharged to the atmosphere.

2. Rotary evacuation drying This evacuation drying is mainly used for liquid drying. The liquid-filled ampoule is placed in a vacuum box with an angled centrifuge. The centrifuge is started first, and after reaching the rated speed, the vacuum pump is started. At this time, the moisture in the product of the ampoule evaporates due to the heat of the surrounding molecules absorbed by the decompression, and the unvaporized portion is dried due to the loss of heat. The main function of centrifugation is to prevent foaming of the liquid in the ampoule. This freezing method can remove 12.5% to 20% of water, and the concentration of the solution will increase after drying.

3. Spray drying Spray drying is also one of the vacuum drying methods. The liquid is sprayed from the nozzle into a mist on the surface. When the inside of the container is vacuum, it is dried due to evaporation of water vapor. The surface can be a rotating disc or a conveyor belt with a distance of a few centimeters from the nozzle. The nozzle is parallel to the axis of the disc. The liquid ejected from the nozzle does not dry immediately, and the liquid droplets sprayed onto the surface of the dish are removed from the surface of the plate before evaporating and drying. The drying apparatus can also replace the disc with a cylinder or a drum which is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, and the nozzle is placed inside the cylinder to spray the liquid onto the inner wall to cause drying.

Hand Held Dental 3D Scanner

3D dental scanner is most commonly utilized for cosmetic and restoration purposes, such as reconstructive therapy or oral surgery. 3D imaging allows for planning and customizing services for procedures such as bone grafts, implants, and root canals. 3D scanning is also often used to create 3D images for orthodontic treatment.
