Alberto Alessi, the third generation leader of his family-renowned design company, has brought many surprises to the kitchens and restaurants of many American families. The 65-year-old Alessi is also a passionate wine drinker and wine merchant; five years ago, he planted a biodynamic organic vineyard in his hometown in northern Italy.
