Navel orange growth tree fertilization period and amount of fertilizer

The tree of growth results from a predominance of vegetative growth and gradually transitions to a transitional phase in which vegetative growth and reproductive growth tend to balance. In the early stage, we must continue to form the backbone, continue to expand the canopy and the root system, and increase the annual output. Fertilization should be considered from the perspective of maintaining vegetative growth and increasing results. According to the results of the study, the trees that were put into production accounted for 70-80% of the early autumn shoots and 20-30% of the spring shoots. Therefore, we must re-apply spring and autumn fertilizer to promote good quality spring and autumn shoots. Generally, four times of fertilizer is applied throughout the year, the first time in the end of February to the beginning of March, and the second time in the middle of May, with the purpose of stabilizing fruit. This fertilizer will control the amount of available nitrogen fertilizer. The third time was applied in mid-July to promote early autumn shoots and strong fruits. The fourth time was carried out in mid-November to restore the tree vigor, improve the quality of flower buds, and ensure that the tree needs winter nutrients. The amount of fertilizer should be determined according to the growth results. In general, 100 kg of human feces, 1.1 kg of compound fertilizer, and 0.3 kg of urea are applied per plant throughout the year, and a large amount of manure, green manure and other organic fertilizers are applied at the same time. According to our survey, each adult plant of Shuangshi Orchard applied 0.5 kg of ammonium percarbonate, 0.5 kg of superphosphate, 0.25 kg of urea, 0.15 kg of Canadian potash, 0.25 kg of compound fertilizer, 0.75 kg of cake fertilizer, and 75 kg of pig manure.
