Why corn twists deformity

The “D” shaped seedlings were formed and the plants were dwarfed. Use nicosulfuron and other drugs during corn growth, if corn seedlings are younger than 3 leaves or more than 5 leaves, or if they are applied under high temperature conditions, or if they are used excessively, or applied within 7 days before and after application of herbicides. Phosphorus pesticides, 3 to 7 days after application will appear heart leaf curling, leaf shrinkage, and irregular yellow drug spots and other phenomena, when the heart rot. For corn seedlings that are subject to phytotoxicity and growth malformation, most plants will naturally resume normal growth when the symptoms are mild, and the heart leaves may be severely distorted so that the tassels can be extracted normally, and timely fertilization of the affected fields is beneficial to the plants. Restore growth as soon as possible. 2. Hummer hazards. Corn is often harmed by thrips in the 3 to 5 leaf stage, and the severely damaged plant leaves curl into a whip. The inside leaves cannot be extracted normally. There are chlorotic dots on leaves damaged by thrips, and a large number of thrips are visible on stripping leaves. 10% imidacloprid wettable powder, 1.8% abamectin EC, 25% thiamethoxam water dispersible granules spray can be used, focusing on the heart and leaf back spray. Seriously deformed plants need to manually dissect the twisted heart. 3. Under special climatic conditions, some species have abnormal growth and development. The distorting of the heart mainly occurs before the male tassels. The heart leaves are whip-shaped, and the top is swaying to one side. A large number of corn varieties at the same time on the deformity, mostly due to physiological factors, the induced climate factors have long-term low temperature and humidity in the early growth period, the trumpet met with high temperature and drought. When the twist is severe, it is necessary to cut the curled heart blade longitudinally with a knife so that the tassel can be withdrawn normally.
