Keep the temperature of the lamb house and let the ewes pick up the mucus from the lamb. If the ewes are not embarrassed, sprinkle some bran on the lamb to lure them to dry. Its role is: to enhance the mother and child feelings, access to oxytocin, to facilitate the discharge of the placenta.
Fourth, timely broken umbilicus
Most umbilical cords can be spontaneously torn after being produced by the lamb. After nicking, umbilical cords should be disinfected with 5% iodine. Without tearing, it can be torn from the abdomen 5 to 10 centimeters after the blood is squeezed into the abdomen, and then it is heated and ironed to stop bleeding and disinfection.
Fifth, eat colostrum
Ensure that the lamb eats colostrum in time. After the ewes are completed, the long hair around the ewes' udder should be cut off, and the breasts should be disinfected with warm water or potassium permanganate and the first few drops of milk should be discarded. After the ewes stand on their own, they will be assisted to eat colostrum, and they will be initially obtained. Nutrition and basic immune antibodies reduce the incidence.
