U.S. companies claim to find "miraculous cure" for all cancers

Business agency August 27th According to the US media report on August 24th, the United States Arnyram Biotechnology Company announced that they have found a new type of drug that can cure all cancers, and the first 19 patients with advanced liver cancer undergoing clinical trials. The condition has greatly improved. Not only that, the company said that in time, this drug may even cure all diseases.

The first patients respond well

In April this year, 19 patients with liver cancer who received chemotherapy but did not get better started taking this new drug called ALN-VSP. Within a few weeks after taking the first dose, the drug has apparently begun to stop the tumor from producing the proteins it needs to grow.

In June of this year, Arnilham said that ALN-VSP successfully cut off 62% of the blood flow of tumors in patients with liver cancer by "waking up" the body's own rarely used immune defense system. In the treatment of liver cancer, conventional drugs generally use a method of eliminating pathogenic proteins, while ALN-VSP directly prevents cells from producing pathogenic proteins through RNA interference (RNAi) therapy.

Wake up the body's own defense mechanism

In their research, scientists also discovered a wonderful relationship between RNA and DNA—if DNA is a drawing for proteins, then RNA is the builder who can give instructions. RNA copies genes from DNA into single-stranded messenger RNA, which in turn sends information to cells to produce proteins.

In 1998, scientists discovered a mechanism of RNA interference (RNAi) that the original organism used to identify and destroy viral double-stranded RNA and viral messenger RNA. The researchers found that the introduction of a small stretch of double-stranded RNA into cells triggers this. The ancient mechanism buried in the human body makes RNAi once again function to stop production of specific proteins.

From this perspective, it can be said that RNAi has the ability to cure many diseases, including cancer, and these diseases are generally characterized by the abnormal cells producing excess common proteins. In theory, it is not difficult to manipulate RNAi to kill proteins. For example, ALN-VSP contains synthetic double-stranded RNA, which is matched with liver tumors for messenger RNA encoding two proteins, namely vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) that promotes tumor blood vessel growth. Accelerated rapid division of spindle cells by spindle kinesin (KSP).
