Maintenance of direct transfer tiller clutch

The direct transmission type tiller uses the oil-batch clutch (similar to the 125-type motorcycle clutch) and is relatively rare in agricultural machinery. Therefore, many farm operators do not know how to maintain and maintain. First, the so-called oil bath must be soaked in organic oil, but only soaked to 1/4 to 1-3. Without oil, the clutch friction plate may be burned. Secondly, the oil must not be used with high concentrations of oil, as this can cause the clutch friction plates to stick and fail to separate. It is best to use the same diesel oil as the generator. Finally, the clutch clearance should be adjusted correctly. If the clearance is too small, the clutch friction plate may not be separated due to back pressure during clutching. The gap is too large, and the pressure may be insufficient to make the clutch friction plate slip, showing insufficient power and machine heat. Adjusting Clutch Clearance Generally, press the clutch release lever by hand and feel that the separation claw contacts the clutch release bearing and loosens it by 2 mm. Tighten the clutch cable screw.
