Electronic balance
The electronic balance is a new generation of balances from Zui. It is based on electromagnetic principle and has two structures: top load type (suspended single disc) and bottom load type (top dish type). The general electronic balances are equipped with small computers, which have functions of digital display, automatic zero adjustment, automatic correction, deduction of tare weight, output printing, etc. Some products also have data storage and processing functions. The electronic balance is easy to operate and the weighing speed is fast.
In recent years, China has produced a variety of models of electronic balances, but because the price of electronic balances is several times to ten times higher than mechanical balances, it is not yet popular in China.
The general operation method of the electronic balance is: preheating for a certain time (according to the instructions); adjusting the level; after the zero point display is stable, use the standard anvil code to calibrate; remove the standard anvil code, the zero point display can be stabilized Weighing. For example, when using a small beaker to weigh the sample, you can first open the small beaker with a clean bath in the center of the weighing pan. After the number is stable, press the “Tare” button, the display will return to zero, and then slowly add the sample to the display. When the quality of the sample is required, stop the sample loading and directly record the quality of the sample. Do not use the balance for a short time (for example, 2h), or turn off the balance power switch to avoid re-energizing and warming up when you use it again.
Electronic balance method
Troubleshooting reason
No display on the display killer, no working voltage, check the power supply line and instrument
Connect the transformer without a transformer
After adjusting the calibration, the surface of the balance placed on the monitor is unstable, ensuring that the place where the balance is placed is stable.
No display does not reach internal stability and prevent vibration from affecting the balance support surface
Closing the windshield
The display shows "H" overload for the balance to unload
The balance shows “L” or the type of structure without the weighing pan or chassis according to the electronic balance
“Err 54” with a weighing pan or chassis
The weighing result constantly changes the vibration greatly, and the balance is exposed to be taken through the "electronic balance work menu"
Corresponding measures in an environment without windproof measures
The windproof ink is not completely closed and the windshield is completely closed.
Between the weighing pan and the balance housing
There is debris to remove debris
Hook weighing opening closed cover
Opened, closed, hook, weighing, opening
The weight of the measured object is unstable (absorbed
Moisture or evaporation)
The measured object has an electrostatic charge
The weighing result is obviously wrong. The electronic balance is adjusted without adjustment.
Before the weighing is not cleared before the weighing is zero

Electronic balance use attention
First, the heart of a gravity balance electromagnetic sensor reed (generally a total of 618) is thin and thin, easily damaged, and the higher the accuracy of the balance, the thinner the gravity sensing reed, so in use Special care should be taken to protect the balance from loading objects that exceed the weighing range. Never press the weighing pan or drop the balance down to avoid damaging the balance or changing the performance of the gravity sensor. Weighing an object The temple is a heavier object. Generally, it should not be removed for more than 30 seconds. The weighing plate and its tray should be removed.
Second, the electronic balance is actually an instrument that measures the gravitational force of the earth on an object that is open on the scale, that is, the gravitational acceleration of the earth (9-9. 8m2/s) is different. The accuracy of using the local weighing depends on whether the correct calibration and the accuracy of the anvil are corrected. If you find that the corrected balance in Guangzhou has a certain error in the local weighing, this does not mean that the balance has any faults. According to the method described in the manual of each type of electronic balance, the standard anvil code approved by the metrology department can be used for accurate weighing.
Third, the correction mechanism is generally divided into three categories:
Fully automatic calibration: internal standard anvil code and motor servo mechanism, just press one function key to complete the calibration in tens of seconds. Generally, the new type of electronic one-tenth of the electronic precision is automatically adjusted. ;
Semi-automatic correction: built-in standard anvil code but no servo mechanism, after entering the calibration procedure, you need to manually load and remove the calibration code;
Manual calibration: There is no standard anvil code and servo mechanism in the balance. Manual calibration program and manual anvil code are required for calibration. Generally, the balance with low accuracy is manually corrected.
4. The electronic balance is a precision electronic measuring instrument that is highly sensitive to the environment. It should be handled carefully when using it. The mounting table should have no obvious vibration. Do not open it in the air conditioning port. If these conditions are not met, some improvement measures should be taken, such as changing the use. Place the windproof ink at the same time, and pay attention to adjust the bottom corner screw to center the bubble of the level indicator. The unbalanced level of the balance is also one of the reasons for the weighing error.
FA type series electronic balance common faults and troubleshooting
1. Fault phenomenon: the balance self-test cannot pass, and the following fault code appears.
"ECI": CPU damage
"EC2": Keyboard error
"EC3": Balance data loss
"EC4": The sampling module is not started
Cause: The fatal error caused the balance to not work properly
Solution: send the balance to repair
2. Fault phenomenon: the balance shows "L"
Reasons: 1) There is no open weighing pan; 2) There is foreign matter under the weighing pan; 3) Airflow ink is in contact with the weighing pan.
Solution: 1) Place the weighing pan on the weighing pan; 2) Gently pick up the weighing pan to check if there is any foreign matter under the weighing pan and remove the foreign object; 3) Gently turn the weighing pan or airflow cover to see if there is any contact. The phenomenon of adjusting the position of the airflow cover.
3. Fault phenomenon: load balance shows "H"
Reasons: 1) The loading object on the weighing pan is too heavy and exceeds the Zui range; 2) The balance has been calibrated with an anvil code or other object smaller than the calibration anvil value, resulting in the weight displayed in the normal range being overweight.
Solution: 1) Weigh only in the range of the range; 2) Recalibrate with the exact anvil code.
4. Fault phenomenon: “L” is displayed when the power is turned on, “H” is displayed when loading is displayed, “H” is displayed when the power is turned on, and “L” is displayed when loading.
Cause: The balance is outside the temperature environment where work is allowed.
Solution: The temperature environment of the balance is 20 °C ± 5 °C, the ambient temperature changes by no more than 1 °C per hour, and the sky is placed in the ambient temperature condition.
5. Fault phenomenon: the balance shows “E1”, the display overflows, the display value has exceeded 99999999
Cause: When the piece count or percentage is weighed, the sample value is too small.
Solution: 1) When the piece counts, “E1” appears. First, take the object on the weighing pan and re-select the number of samples. Select the integers of the sample 10 times, 5 times, 10 times, etc. as samples. Write down the multiple of the current sample and read the displayed value multiplied by a multiple of the reading. “E1” appears when the percentage is weighed. First, remove the object on the weighing pan and re-select the sample.
6. Fault phenomenon: The display data has changed normally with the change of weighing, and suddenly it will not change.
Cause: An object larger than the corrected anvil code value was used for the balance calibration, so that the display no longer increases after a value greater than a certain display value.
Solution: Recalibrate the balance.
7. Fault phenomenon: no display appears after pressing the "i/o" button
Reason: 1) The power is not plugged in; 2) The fuse is blown; 2) The keyboard is faulty and the button is stuck.
Solution: 1) Plug in the power supply; 2) Replace the fuse. Unplug the power cord, use a small screwdriver to pry the fuse box at the balance socket and replace the fuse. 3) Loosen the button fixing screw to adjust the button position.
8. Fault phenomenon: After the power is turned on, only “.” is displayed in the lower left corner of the display, and there is no other display. It shows that the balance weighing environment is unstable and the balance cannot always get a stable weighing.
Reasons: 1) The glass of the balance door is not closed; 2) There are foreign objects under or around the weighing pan; 3) The airflow ink is not well opened, causing the weighing pan to rub against the airflow ink; 4) There is strong vibration and airflow around the balance; 5) The weighing environment selection and weighing range of the balance are not properly set.
Solution: 1) Close the door glass; 2) Gently pick up the weighing pan to see if there is any foreign matter, pay special attention to whether there are small foreign objects; 3) Slowly rotate the airflow ink or the weighing pan to observe whether there is any rubbing phenomenon; 4) Choose a sturdy mounting surface, no vibration, and a small airflow environment; 5) Reset the balance weighing environment settings.

Peripherally inserted central catheters, called PICC lines, are typically inserted in a vein in the patient's arm to provide intravenous treatments like chemotherapy or extended antibiotic therapy and are often in place for several weeks or months. IV&Picc Protector that keeps picc lines in place helps deter infection.
