On May 25, the egg trade of the Wuhan Agricultural and Livestock Products Exchange officially went live. So far, the total value of the accumulated egg trade on the exchange has exceeded 100 million yuan, and the actual egg delivery volume has exceeded 6,000 boxes. The sellers involved in the transaction are mainly farmers, professional cooperatives, and egg and poultry enterprises in Yishui, Xinzhou, Jingshan, and other places in our province; the buyers, mainly supermarkets and traders in Wuhan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Fuzhou, etc.

Tao Xinmin, Business Director, said that the launch of the deal will allow big chicken owners to sell eggs when the chickens are not laid, lock prices down, reduce imbalances in supply and demand, and reduce price fluctuations.

Settlement warehouse "pick in the egg"

The unpredictable K-line ultimately translates into a realistic egg delivery.

According to experts, it is difficult to carry out long-term trading of live agricultural products. The key is that products are alive and changeable, and standards are difficult to unify.

At present, Wuhan Farming and Animal Products Exchange has set up egg delivery warehouses in Surabaya, Xinzhou and other places, and its selection criteria are very strict.

When the farmer or the company sends eggs, the workers must turn it over again. "The eggs should be carefully examined one by one." Risk-avoidance, farmer businesses are all good. On the morning of the 7th, Xinzhou “Chicken Commander” Hu Yuanzhang called the exchange early and ordered orders. He wanted to sell 20 batches of eggs during the month, with a single box price of 188 yuan.

The 56-year-old Hu Yuanzhang, Zhang Xincun, Li Ji Street, Xinzhou District, personally raised 12,000 chickens. He said: At present, the price of local egg collection fluctuates around 4 yuan per catty, which translates into approximately 180 yuan per carton. The selling price of 188 yuan is a positive trend for future egg prices. As the weather gets colder and the egg source decreases, together with New Year's Day and the Spring Festival approaching, egg prices may gradually increase.

Hu Yuanzhang said: If the exchange price of eggs goes down and the long-term bearish, we must reduce the scale of breeding; if egg prices are bullish in the long-term, we must appropriately increase the scale of breeding. "I will not blindly produce again for a while. I will blindly bargain for a while."

Wang Aiguo, a large aquaculture farmer in Yishui County, could not conceal the goodwill of trading on eggs: “I saw the price of eggs dropped to 140 yuan in the middle of the year. I know that it is absolutely a loss. I am sure it will not last long. Immediately I judge that prices must rise. We bought 5 batches. As a result, the price of eggs rose back to 165 yuan in two days. I immediately transferred them and earned nearly 2,000 yuan."

This year, Guangzhou City Rennor Trade Co., Ltd. traded hundreds of eggs. Liu Jizhi, general manager of the company, said that by taking advantage of this transaction, it is possible to stabilize the source of supply, and it is also possible to buy first to avoid ascending, or to lower the price when it falls.
